Knuckle - what is under the name of pork knuckle

Knuckle is the front or back of a pig carcass with or without bone, from which we get a delicious dish of the same name. The average knuckle weighs 0.25 - 0.40 kg.

This dish is mainly a delicacy of men but it is not very popular among women.

What to give?

Knuckle best tastes with a beer mug and fried cabbage. It can also be served with canned vegetables, pickled cucumber, horseradish, mustard. And also with potatoes or simply with bread. In our restaurant you can try pork knuckle baked in beer which we serve traditionally with horseradish, mustard, pickled cucumber and bread. Or fried cabbage and potatoes.

Of course, we offer beer to choose from four types of draft beer: Tyskie, book dark and red, and Czech Pilsner Urguell served in 3 Czech ways: Hladinka, Mliko Cochtan. What is hidden under these names? We invite you to the Piwnica Pod Złotą Pipą.
