Chess

History of chess.

The beginnings of chess are not entirely clear, although most believe that they evolved from chess-like games played in India almost two thousand years ago. Scores that are known today come from around the 15th century, when they became popular in Europe.

Chess is a game, played between two opponents on two sides of the chessboard, containing 64 fields of alternating colors. Each player has 16 chews:

One king, one hetman (also known as the queen), two towers, two bishops, two jumpers, and eight pieces. The goal of the game is to give the mat to the king of the opponent. The mate takes place when one of the kings is under attack (estimate) and not he has the possibility to escape from it.
